Universe Walk (maquette)

Universe Walk (maquette).  Lye left plans, drawings and models for several large projects including the Temple of Lightning, Storm and Steel Gateway.  In Steel Gateway (later to become Universe Walk), he proposed an enlarged ‘Universe’ sculpture, ten times the size of the gallery work and forming an entrance to a large kinetic complex of steel Twisters and a forty foot Rotating Harmonic.
